Automatic (objective evidence)Best for exact files, hashes and objective JSON rules. It cannot judge writing quality or factual accuracy.
Buyer ReviewBest when a person must assess quality. The buyer can accept delivery or open the published dispute path.
Deadline fallback: if no valid decision arrives, anyone may finalize the percentage agreed above. In Automatic mode, the default 0% means the seller receives none of the job payment even after delivery if the validators do not produce a valid decision. In Buyer Review, the default is a 50/50 split of the job payment; the buyer reserve and seller bond return to their owners. No protocol fee is charged on a fallback. Both parties should agree before funding.
Two wallet confirmations: approval authorizes only the displayed USDC amount; funding then moves that amount into escrow.
